Frequently Asked Questions

What is Rescuing Potential?

Rescuing Potential is an education-led organisation with a neurodiverse lens. We identify, nurture, and empower children and young people whose potential may be hidden by learning barriers, educational challenges, or neurodevelopmental differences.

What ages do you support?

We support children and young people aged 4 to 17.

How do I book an assessment?

Start by booking a consultation with us. We will walk you through which assessments, if any, are necessary for your child and help you book them.

How is specialist tutoring different from regular tutoring?

Traditional tutoring often focuses on completing homework, preparing for exams, or repeating areas a child finds difficult. Our specialist tutors focus on understanding your child's learning style and empowering them to build confidence and independence through science-based, evidence-based strategies.

Do you offer workshops for parents and the community?

Yes. We offer parent workshops, family education sessions, community awareness presentations, and school partnership initiatives.

What do members receive?

Members receive:

  • Access to expert-led workshops for parents, carers, and professionals

  • Free consultations and developmental screenings for every child included in the membership

  • Access to private consultations with our Founder & CEO

  • Discounted and documented assessments for all children under their car

How do I book a consultation?

Select "Book a Consultation" anywhere on our website and choose a time that suits you. Your consultation will take place online, where we will talk through your child's needs and what support may help. From there, we will guide you on the right next steps, whether that is an assessment, educational support, or membership.

How do I stay up to date with news and events?

Subscribe with your email at the bottom of any page. We respect your privacy, and you can read our Privacy Policy for details.

Who do you work with?

We work with children, young people, parents and carers, schools, educators, and community organisations. Whether you are a parent seeking answers about your child's learning, or a school looking to build staff capacity and create a more inclusive community, we are ready to partner with you.

Are your services online or in person?

Consultations are held online. Depending on your child's needs, services that follow, such as tutoring, may take place in person.

Is my child's information kept confidential?

Yes. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy. Please read it for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

What kinds of difficulties can specialist tutoring help with?

Tutoring is designed for children who may be experiencing difficulties with literacy, numeracy, dyslexia, attention, executive functioning, or other barriers to learning.

How can my school or organisation start a partnership?

Use the Contact Us form or book a consultation, and tell us a little about your goals. We will take it from there.

How much does membership cost, and how do I join?

Membership is 100 TTD a month. To learn more and see whether membership is right for you, book a consultation or visit our Become a Member page.

Is the initial consultation free?

Yes, your first consultation is free.

What does "education-led with a neurodiverse lens" mean?

It means our work is grounded in how children learn. We look beyond what a child finds difficult to understand why, and how that individual child learns best.

What assessments do you offer?

We currently offer Autism assessments and ADHD assessments, including screening, assessment, and diagnostics carried out according to US and UK standards.

What educational services do you offer?

We offer Reading Intervention, Dyslexia Support, Educational Planning, and Numeracy Support. The best place to start is a consultation, where we look at your child's needs and help you decide which plan is the best fit.

Does my child need a diagnosis to access educational support?

No. A diagnosis is not required to begin educational support.

What is a Rescuing Potential membership?

Membership is a way to support a child's journey and gain ongoing access to expert guidance. It is open to parents, carers, and professionals.

How many children can be included in one membership?

As many as are under your care. This makes membership especially valuable if you care for more than one child or if you are a teacher, youth leader, school, or community leader supporting many children.

How can I contact you?

Use the form on our Contact Us page, email us at info@rescuingpotential.com, or call  +1 (868) 731-8214.
